Treatments for Cellulite, Excess Fat Now Produce Long-Lasting Results

Cellulite and excess fat are the prime culprits and “physique busters” that prove to be a monumental impediment in most women’s quest for attainting a trim and fit body. The latter in that equation can be somewhat tackled by bringing about life style changes such as adopting a vigorous exercise regime and consuming less calories but cellulite is stubborn and very resistant to such endeavors. According to Dr. Christine Lee, MD, FAAD, assistant clinical professor of dermatologic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco and director of a private practice in Walnut Creek, California, cellulite effects 80% of women irrespective of their body weight. Before the refinement of this laser technology, earlier treatments couldn’t substantially affect the appearance of cellulite. The results were temporary.

1440 Nanometer Laser

This is the answer to cellulite woes of every female out there! It’s the first minimally invasive laser treatment which has already won the approval of FDA and is proven to provide long lasting dramatic results. The procedure entails inserting a tiny fiber optic beneath the skin to break the fiber bands causing the cellulite. The laser applied then releases the skin and sort of raises the skin to fill in the dimples or depressions. The fiber bands are severed and at the same time blood supply to the area is cut off to keep the cellulite from resurging. This treatment can take care of multiple areas of the body in a single session and is especially suited for buttocks, thighs and hips. There is little swelling and minimal bruising after the procedure which warrants some down time but usually is resolved gradually over the course of a week or two.

Cyrolipolysis

The word “Cyro” is a giveaway that this procedure involves freezing of some sort. Cyrolipolysis is also a noninvasive procedure approved by FDA. It removes localized pockets of fats in the lower abdomen and along the sides of the body including these troublesome love handles. The procedure works by freezing the lipids in the fat cell which slowly dissolve without exerting any negative effect on surrounding tissues. Depending on the fat pockets up to three treatment sessions might be required to dissolve an inch of fat. The results take typically three to four months to become visible.

The problem with most people disillusioned by cosmetic procedures and not getting their desired end results is that they opt for a procedure before doing any homework depending mostly on hearsay. They lack fully comprehension of best technologies available for them. Experts therefore highly recommend doing thorough research to attain desired results
Stay tuned for part 2!!
